Formal Affair was sent away as the post time favourite and the Governor's Plate starter delivered winning in 1:56.4 for his backers in the $2,200 feature event Saturday night at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino

Driver Mark Bradley took command of the field sending the Dale and Ronnie Rennie pacing star to the front from Post 8 en route to a one length victory, turning back runner-up Riccaras Sun and Sombrero Blue Chip for third. The time of the mile was 1:56.4.
The David Rose trainee captured his first win of the 2011 campaign in only his third start. The win was one of three on the card for Bradley and Rose.
In other action, Scarlet Patti and Darryl MacLean won the trot feature while Ms Campbell, with Blaine Baglole in the bike, engineered a late stretch duel to win the MacPhail Reunion Pace. Camcun, driven by Kenny Arsenault, claimed the Morell & Area 4H Club Pace.
