Evergreen Park hosted a pair of Alberta Heritage divisions Wednesday, July 22 at the half-mile Grande Prairie oval. The four-year Alberta-sired mares were putting their best hooves forward, and pilot Bill Tainsh, Jr. was looking to hit a big milestone

.

In the first division, the Alvin Jensen-trained Tajma Hall lass Crying Over You converted a second-over trip and paced off to record a three-length victory in a career best 1:58.3. Silver Princess (driven by Jamie Gray) finished second and Outlaw Like A Lady (Mike Hennessy) third.

The second split saw the Jamie Gray-trained and driven Rossridge Divine overcome interference to record a one-length win in a personal season's best 1:56.4. The interference occurred before the half, but the As Promised bay drove on for the off the pace victory.

In terms of Tainsh, the reinsman failed to take a trip to the winner's circle, but did major a trio of third-place finishes. The pilot still sits a pair of driving wins shy of the 2,000 mark for his career.
