Post positions have been determined for the 60th edition of the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Saturday, July 25. The $420,500 USD Grade 1 stake is presented by 1/ST BET.
Odds On Mr Mamba won the initial draw between the two elimination winners and by rule had first choice for post position. Trainer Melanie Wrenn selected post three. That left Al Papi, the other elimination winner from last Saturday, to select next, and trainer Ron Burke chose post four.
Al Papi, who put forth an impressive 1:47.2 victory in last week's elim, was then installed as the 5-2 morning-line favourite, with Odds On Mr Mamba the second choice at 3-1 following his 1:49.3 elim victory.
The remaining posts were decided by draw, overseen by presiding judge Scott Egger, representing the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission.

The also eligible will move into the race if another horse is scratched prior to 10 a.m. on Thursday. Final driver choices must be made by 10 a.m. Thursday as well.
The Adios will air on CBS Sports Network from 5-6 p.m. EDT on Saturday. The Adios will be the final race on the 16-race card, with the first race going to the post at 11:30 a.m.
More than $100,000 in guaranteed pools will be offered during the card. The first will be a $5,000 guaranteed Early Pick 5 starting in the opening race, with a later Pick 5 comprising the final five races guaranteed at $10,000. There will be three guaranteed Pick 4s — early (Races 5-8) for $10,000, middle (Races 9-12) for $20,000 and late (Races 13-16) for $20,000. The Adios Pick 3, finishing with the main event, has a $3 minimum, a 15 per cent takeout and a $10,000 guarantee. Two pentafectas, in Races 8 and 16, have guarantees of $10,000 and $20,000, respectively.
