World champion and millionaire trotter Hillexotic sold for six figures in an online auction on Saturday, July 20.
Hillexotic was purchased for $327,397 by Greg Luther of Ohio via onGait.com.
The seven-year-old gelded son of Muscle Hill has been facing the best older trotters in North America and is the defending Dayton Trotting Derby champion. The career winner of 28 races took his world record mark of 1:50.2 for an aged trotting gelding on a five-eighths-mile track in the 2023 Maxie Lee Memorial Invitational at Harrah's Philadelphia.
The sellers were Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Phil Collura.
Also last weekend, Seaside Sailing p,3,1:53.3f, a three-year-old son of Downbytheseaside, was sold by Hutchinson Harness LLC of Ohio to John Swider of Georgia for $38,356; Hobbs 3,1:53.3s, a veteran son of Credit Winner, went to Cory Stratton for $34,384; and Jamie Copley of Ontario and his partners sold Ima Standup Guy 5,1:55.1f, an Archangel five-year-old racing in the Preferreds at Rideau Carleton Raceway, to Joe Faraldo for $33,699.
