More Stakes Starts For NA Cup Eligibles

Trot Insider continues to track the contenders and eligibles as they prepare for the 2020 Pepsi North America Cup some four weeks out from elimination weekend.

This year's edition of the $1 million Pepsi North America Cup will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The eliminations will be held a week prior.

For the past several years, Trot Magazine's Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book has served as an initial barometer for the colts and geldings that may be in the running for the sophomore pacing set's single biggest payday. As in past years, the Spring Book appeared in the April issue of Trot.

A number of the major contenders for the 2020 Pepsi North America Cup will be active this weekend in stakes on both sides of the border. The eliminations for the 2020 Delvin Miller Adios take place on Saturday (July 25) at The Meadows, while Woodbine Mohawk Park hosts the best of the Ontario Sires Stakes with OSS Gold divisions on Saturday night.
