Northside Downs will see some exciting harness racing action on Saturday as the North Sydney track plays host to Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old pacing fillies.
This will be the fifth meeting of the three-year-old fillies this race season.
The three-year-old fillies will go in three 'A' divisions, each for a purse pool of $6,760. Two 'B' divisions will go for $2,500 each.
Elm Grove Ella and Meridian Magic, the two fillies leading the point standings, will both make appearances at the North Sydney oval but will not have to compete against each other as they have drawn separate divisions.
First-race post time at Northside Downs on Saturday is 1:30 p.m.
Next week the ATSS racing action will move to Truro Raceway, as Atlantic Grand Circuit Week gets underway.
Following Saturday’s race card, the competitors will have only two more opportunities to earn points to gain entry into the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships.
This year’s Atlantic Breeders Crown is being hosted by Truro Raceway October 8-10.
