Driver Jacob Cutting launched Five Card Draw N towards the center of the course and landed a neck in front to pull a 16-1 upset in the $8,000 featured pace at Running Aces on Tuesday (July 21).

Nick Roland sent 3-5 favourite Cool Cowboy to the front for a :27.2 opening quarter, then executed the "give-and-go" with My Friskie Boy to retake the lead before facing a strong challenge from Bunkerhill Bill through middle fractions of :57 and 1:25.4. Bunkerhill Bill forged to the lead turning for home and battled with My Friskie Boy while Five Card Draw tipped widest of all into the lane and swept the field from last to first, getting up right on the line over My Friskie Boy and Bunkerhill Bill in 1:55.

Five Card Draw N is an 11-year-old gelded son of Bettors Delight owned by Donald and Barbara Arnstine and Kathleen Plested, who also trains the $34.80 winner. The victory today was the first of the year for Five Card Draw N and his 32nd win overall.

The $6,000 Two-Year-Old Trot went to The Royal Queen (Rick Magee, $3.60), scoring her second in a row while recording a career mark of 2:04.4 for trainer Justin Anfinson. The $6,000 Two-Year-Old Pace went to Something To Me (Darrell Wright, $6.80) in 1:59.3 for owner-trainer Tony Huffman.

Drivers Jacob Cutting, Darrel Wright and Rick Magee all completed doubles on the day. Trainer Williams Hernandez also picked up a double.

Live Racing returns to Running Aces on Saturday (July 25), with first post at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) and will feature a carryover in the 20 cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager of $13,223.39.
