Five Card Draw N Lights 'Aces' Tote
Driver Jacob Cutting launched Five Card Draw N towards the center of the course and landed a neck in front to pull a 16-1 upset in the $8,000 featured pace at Running Aces on Tuesday (July 21).
Nick Roland sent 3-5 favourite Cool Cowboy to the front for a :27.2 opening quarter, then executed the "give-and-go" with My Friskie Boy to retake the lead before facing a strong challenge from Bunkerhill Bill through middle fractions of :57 and 1:25.4. Bunkerhill Bill forged to the lead turning for home and battled with My Friskie Boy while Five Card Draw tipped widest of all into the lane and swept the field from last to first, getting up right on the line over My Friskie Boy and Bunkerhill Bill in 1:55.
