Teamster Maxim Gaudreault was a winning machine during Saturday afternoon’s 10-race card at St Joseph De Lepage in Quebec.
The reinsman teamed home five winners on the program including a 20-length triumph behind Wild River Swan (1:57.2) in Race 2. Gaudreault came right back to capture Race 3 with Code Word (1:57.2).
He completed the hat trick when Chaleurs Ad (1:59.2) went gate-to-wire in Race 5, and the Grand Slam became a reality thanks to a Race 7 triumph with Brussebeach (1:57.1). The drive for five came through when Chaleurs Ad (1:58) was a handy winner in Race 9.
The Quebec reinsman has now racked up 72 lifetime wins and purses in excess of $120,000.
