Jody Jamieson will attempt to secure his second World Driving Championship title in the 2011 WDC hosted by the United States Trotting Association and scheduled to kick off on Saturday, July 31 at Harrah’s Chester

.

The 34-year-old resident of Moffat, Ontario, who has eclipsed $81 million in lifetime earnings with more than 5,900 trips to the winner’s circle, was victorious in the 2001 World Driving Championship in Finland and Sweden.

Jamieson won the honour of representing Canada by winning the 2011 National Driving Championship held at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park on May 7. This will be the fourth World Driving Championship tournament that Jamieson has taken part in.

We want to show Jody our support and we invite I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fans, SC members, friends, family, etc. to email a good luck message, inspirational message, or message of support by leaving a comment on this story. We’ll put together a book of the messages for Jody and present this to him before he leaves for the US.

If you’re creative in your message (poem, rhyme, etc.) you could have the chance to win an I Love Canadian Harness Racing Swag Package valued at $50. It will include a personally autographed photo of Jody.

Put your thinking caps on and let’s show Jody we’re behind him and let’s show the world what we’ve got, eh?
