A total of nine three-year-old pacing fillies have been drawn into two divisions of the Lady Crocus Stakes which will be contested Saturday, July 25 at Miami, Manitoba.

The first division (Race 3) will feature a compact four-horse field. A $4,280 purse will be up for grabs. Solid Ice bay Heartland Icicle (PP2, P. Giesbrecht, 4-5) has been given the early nod. The Philip Giesbrecht-trained filly has raced six times this season, hit the board every time and recorded four victories, the quickest of which came in 2:02.3 over the Holland Fair.

The second division, which will house a field of five, will feature morning line favourite Lime Rickey (PP2, R. Grundy, 7-5). The bay daughter of Western Maverick has made four starts this season and last recorded a victory on May 29 at Yorkton when the timer was tripped in 2:05.2 for trainer Ryan Grundy.

The Lady Crocus Stakes is co-sponsored by Standardbred Canada.
