The first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for two-year-old colt and gelding trotters will be contested at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Bucyrus, Ohio on Wednesday, July 20 with five divisions.  Each division will carry a purse of $17,500.

Thirty-four freshman trotters are entered with trainer Marion Chupp and Rosy Weaver each sending four to the gate.

Weaver trainee Republic Return and Grand Revival, trained by Deborah Swartz, will look to stay undefeated. Republic Return, a son of Global Republic, has won his first three starts of the year, while Grand Revival, a Creatine gelding, is two-for-two.

First race post time for the 10-race card is set for 5:30 p.m.  Live streaming of the races is available on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Facebook page.
