A recent newcomer to the Manitoba Great Western Harness Racing Circuit, False Advertising earned his second consecutive victory in the $1,700 Open class on Sunday at Holland Fair.
Fresh off an Open win in his Manitoba debut last Sunday at Glenboro, False Advertising swept around the leading mare Smoky Moon past the half and opened up three lengths to win in 2:02.1 over a 'good' track for driver Cory and trainer/owner Betty Manning. Smoky Moon held on for her third straight second-place finish -- her last two in Fillies & Mares company -- over Elska Min.
The five-year-old McArdle gelding now has 11 career wins and purse earnings of $57,945.
