Eight-year-old trotter Tagmaster pushed his current win streak to six for trainer Jennifer Rankin with another wire-to-wire effort at Flamboro Downs on Sunday.

Driven by Paul MacKenzie, the Tagliabue gelding romped to a three and a quarter length victory in 1:59.2 with a step up into the $10,000 claiming class.

Tagmaster was purchased mid-May by Dundas, Ont. resident Amber Rankin and joined the Jennifer Rankin stable. Following an off performance in his debut for the Rankins, the trotter began his winning crusade in the $6,000 claiming ranks at Flamboro and Woodstock Raceway.

Tagmaster has now won eight times in 20 starts this year while banking $25,411. His Canada Day win was his 35th lifetime and pushed his career earnings to $144,259.
