Trainer/driver Tyler Redwood enjoyed a productive day at the office on Canada Day thanks to his four-win performance at Yorkton Exhibition
.
Redwood, who started training in 2001 and then began driving in 2007, took the opener with G Gs Dominator in 2:10.1 before returning to victory lane two races later with stablemate Premium Cigar, who went wire-to-wire and won by 9-1/4 lengths in 2:04.1.
Redwood came right back to the winner’s circle in the very next race following a front-stepping score with Black Mac in 2:00.4. He completed the training/driving Grand Slam with Ignite The Spark in Race 7. The gelding went to the front and didn’t look back en route to the 2:04.2 tally.
The four-win performance gives Redwood, who recently went over $100,000 in lifetime earnings as a trainer, six training wins so far this season.
