Fresh off playing giant killer, Nannie Bernice will take her perfect top-three record to Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park when racing resumes on Thursday evening, July 20.
The Capital track has 13 dashes on tap with a 6 p.m. opening post time and Nannie Bernice will leave from post six in the $3,100 co-feature in race 12 for the duo of driver Ken Murphy and owner/trainer Janice Hubbard. Maggiedelight has been a winner her last two starts but must overcome post seven to make it three straight for driver Corey MacPherson and conditioner Michelle Myers. The Steelhead Hanover mare won the first leg of the P.E.I. Colt Stakes Graduate Series presented by JD Marine & Diving her last start in a new career best of 1:55.1.

The "Post Time Picks" like Maggiedelight to get it all: “Maggiesdelight has been razor sharp right now and just went coast to coast like butter on toast. It’s hard to win from post seven but her form is excellent, so we’ll take a shot and place her on top of the ticket.”
The $3,100 Open Handicap Trot in race 11 has Mile Hill Willie as the top choice from post three. Barrieau drives the stallion for trainer Paul Morrison, who co-owns the horse with John Breau. His main foes are Jessiejesorjessica (Dowling) and New Legacy (Merner).
