Kaufman Doubles In Yorkton

A Sunday night of racing at Cornerstone Raceway in Yorkton, making up a rain out from earlier in the season, was a good one for driver Terry Kaufman

who had a pair of wins in eight races.

Kaufman piloted Lucky As Promised to the winner’s circle in race five, topping Tyler Redwood and Mystic Cameo and Leonard Hill with Bling Kaching.

“She’s all right to drive,” Kaufman said. “The last time I drove her we got second. She was in cheaper this time too. She was on fire in the post parade, and wanting to rumble. At the half they got up on me, but she got her wind back.”

In the eighth race Kaufman was back with Barona Fivehundred winning over Rick Kosterman and Ignite The Spark, and Leonard Hill in the seat behind Thief On The Run.

“He’s just a good horse,” Kaufman said. “He raced big tonight. He got a good trip to the half. I thought I was going to win that one.”

Glenn LeDrew also scored a pair of wins Sunday, with Manstorm topping the opening race of the card, and then scoring a win with Maximus Pass in race six.
