Tuesday night's (July 16) Pick 5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway started with horses at odds of 10-1, 46-1 and 13-1 winning, and that led to the wager not being hit. As a result, when racing resumes on Thursday (July 18), there will be a $7,575.22 carryover and a $20,000 USD guaranteed pool in the sequence.
The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available at the USTA website. The Pick 5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 per cent.
MGM Yonkers Raceway is currently operating on a Monday/Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday live racing schedule with post time each night at 7 p.m. (EDT).
