The Meadowlands Racetrack has released Week 9 of Ken Warkentin’s ‘Road To The Hambletonian’ rankings and Greenshoe is still on the top of the heap.
The 2019 Hambletonian will be contested at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, August 3.
Greenshoe last raced this past Saturday in the Stanley Dancer Memorial at the Meadowlands and was sent off as the 1-5 favourite in the second division. The Marcus Melander-trained monster powered away from the competition in the lane en route to stopping the teletimer in a dazzling clocking of 1:50.1. A replay of the race appears below.
