Fridays at Grand River Raceway have long been dubbed “Fun and Frivolity Fridays” by the operators of the half-mile oval, but it was more of a “Friends and Family Monday”
earlier this week according to the track’s PR princess, Kelly Spencer, in her latest Trot Blog entry.
A talented rookie named Wilsonator etched her name into Grand River Raceway’s record book thanks to her 2:00.4 victory in one of five OSS Gold Series eliminations for the province’s top trotting fillies – and Spencer says it was heartwarming to see the reaction of the filly’s connections afterwards.
