Positioned fifth past a :29.1 opening quarter, driver Dale Spence angled Aspoonfulofsugar off the pegs to race uncovered while chasing pacesetter Little Miss Ava into a :58.3 half. Once the speed settled into the backside, Aspoonfulofsugar recouped seven lengths and continued to charge after Little Miss Ava past three-quarters in 1:28.3. The Rollwithitharry filly hit her best stride in the stretch, sweeping past Little Miss Ava to win by two-and-a-half lengths in 1:59.1. Woodmere Stella closed for second while pocket-sitter Terrormasue claimed third from Little Miss Ava.

Owned by Jennifer Baxter with Sean Baxter, Trish Hardy and Matthew Williams, Aspoonfulofsugar won her second race from two starts, earning $8,964. Dale Spence drove the $3.00 winner for trainer Joe Baxter.

The Hilarious Halo filly paced fractions of :29.3, 1:00.3 and 1:30.4 while only enduring slight first-over pressure from Woodmere Leah entering the final turn. Driver David Dowling sent the Stonebridge Terror filly for the lead and set a pace of :28.4, 1:00.4 and 1:31 in progress to a three-and-a-quarter length win over pocket-sitter Steelthethunder, who finished second via disqualification of race-favourite Reademandweep.

The Steelhead Hanover filly cleared command from post 5 heading to a :29.3 opening quarter and put away a first-over challenge from Woodmere Cha Cha past a 1:01.2 half. From there the Ronnie Gass trainee opened his margin to four lengths passing three-quarters in 1:31 and paced through the stretch under wraps to a three-and-three-quarter length win. Whistlen Cricket closed for second with Mystifying circling tired cover to take third.

Driver Myles Heffernan Sr. swept by pylon-starter Go With Her to lead the field after a :30.1 opening quarter. Mabou Ridge tucked into third, staying put through a :59.3 half before angling first over approaching three-quarters in 1:29. Having a three-length lead diminish to a neck moving into the stretch, Tequila Tuesday rebuffed Mabou Ridge’s challenge and extended his lead through the lane to win by a length over Go With Her. Mabou Ridge settled for third.
