This past Friday night (July 12), the last North American foal by the immortal Somebeachsomewhere was born at Hanover Shoe Farms.
The bay filly with no white markings is the first foal out of the Shadow Play mare Tessa Seelster P,1:50.0 $521,648 and was conceived via frozen semen after her father’s death.
Both mare and foal are doing well. The filly will appropriately be named ‘The Legacy Hanover.’

I think her name should be DONTFORGETTHEBEACH! This is a powerful name for this filly to carry. In time, when her racing career ends, we will be able to look forward to DONTFORGETTHEBEACH babies.
