Recently retired Woodbine Entertainment Group circuit driver Trevor Ritchie will be the special guest this Saturday on the Maple Leaf Trot edition of Mohawk Racing Live.
Ritchie, who announced his retirement from driving two weeks ago, will reflect on his career and discuss the Maple Leaf Trot, a race he won three times, on the pre-race show beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Ritchie captured his three Maple Leaf Trot titles over a five-year span. (Rotation '03, Peaceful Way '06, Equinox Bi '07)
His list of accomplishments also includes the Hambletonian, the North America Cup and six Breeders Crown titles.
Along with an appearance on Mohawk Racing Live, Ritchie will be making the trophy presentation to this year's Maple Leaf Trot winner.
