Oaklea Tyson doubled up in the Saturday night Preferred feature at Hiawatha Horse Park for trainer-driver Daniel Potvin.
The four-year-old Angus Hall gelding fought off favourites CSI Buckeye and Robert Sparling Jr. to win the $7,000 Preferred 3 Trot by half a length while matching his lifetime mark of 1:57.3. Latte Cafe and Andy Moore came on for third. Oaklea Tyson paid $11.10 to win as the 9-2 third choice.
The victory was his third in a row and fifth of the season in 20 starts for Rockwood, Ontario's Potvin.
