All Spirit and Jimmy Marohn Jr. turned in a repeat performance in the $16,500 Fillies and Mares Open Pace on Friday night at Tioga Downs.
Leaving from post position number three in a field of seven, Marohn left and tucked All Spirit in second as the field headed past the opening quarter in :26.3. As the field straightened up past the three-eighths mile mark of the race, Marohn quickly moved All Spirit back to the front. The duo then controlled the field through fractions of :55.3 and 1:23.2 before drawing clear in the stretch to win her second straight in 1:52.
The win was the sixth in 14 seasonal starts for the six-year-old daughter of Bettors Delight and Spirit Of Ivy. She is owned by Larry Lanpher and trained by Judy Lanpher.
Runaway Tray (Fern Paquet Jr.) used a two hole trip to secure second, while Hello Great Mate (Lewayne Miller) closed late for third.
