Things started out quite well for trainer Dan Creighton on Thursday at Hiawatha Horse Park, and as the night wore on things only got better

.

Creighton kicked off the card by sending Thats What I Do to the track, and the three-year-old daughter of Striking Sahbra found her way to victory lane. Eric Carlson guided her to the off-the-pace triumph in 2:01.1.

Just two races later, Start Livin eked out a nose decision for driver Chris Johnston. In doing so, the gelding gave Creighton his second winner on the 11-race program. Creighton also clicked in Race 6 with Duke Of Glory, who went gate-to-wire in a time of 1:58.3 for driver Chris Johnston.

The three-win performance lifted Creighton’s win total to 20 for the season, and it pushed his stable’s 2011 earnings to $118,814. The career winner of 655 races has trained horses that have earned in excess of $6.8 million to date.
