It has been reported that the option of wagering on horse racing via social media giant Facebook could be rolled out in the coming days.
According to a report on dailymail.co.uk, the ability to wager on horse racing on Facebook will only be available in the United Kingdom at this point.
The article states that Facebook announced a deal with online bookmaker Paddy Power earlier this week.
The wagering on Facebook will be done via a game entitled 'Paddy Power In-Play!'
"The launch of the first real-money sports betting product on Facebook is testament to Paddy Power’s e-commerce and technology capabilities," Paddy Power Online Managing Director Peter O’Donovan was quoted as saying. "We are pleased to partner with Facebook on this pioneering work."
