Jamieson rolled the son of Quick Comeback-Cams Cakewalk through panels of :29, 1:00 and 1:30.2 en route to the half-length score over race favourite and former track record holder Dontbenervous (Terrence Williams) in 2:01.2. Third prize went to Our Ryall Flush (Mark MacDonald).

Awesome day at the races! Excellent crowd, great races, wicked atmosphere and what a show put on by the track announcer and all the drivers. That Jamieson guy is a real showman. Loved every minute. Nice to see these talented young men having a great time and enjoying the day here in Newfoundland. Should be a real boost for local harness racing. Thanks so much to all involved.
