A 10-race program of live harness racing has been drawn and will head postward at Saint Esprit this Saturday (July 11) at 1 p.m.
Eight five-horse races and two dashes that will feature fields of six will comprise the program.
Saint Esprit will also host another card of live racing next Saturday (July 18).
The Saint Esprit races take place at the farm of horseman Michel Allard. Racing at the farm was recently the topic of a brief story by the Montcalm L’Express (to read the article in English, click here).
In the article, Danielle Allard states that the farm gained approval to run the races once again this year.
The report also explains how Saint Esprit is looking to honour the horsepeople that have been major contributors to the province’s racing industry.
The article has quoted Michel Allard as saying that the two Saturdays are dates “not to be missed.”
As Trot Insider reported earlier this week, horsepeople in the province are anticipating the new series ‘Des Chevaux Des Hommes Et Du Cash’ which is scheduled to be run on ‘Historia,’ the French version of the ever-popular ‘History Channel.’ For more on the show, click here.
