Trevor Henry began Wednesday's 12-race card at Grand River Raceway with four consecutive victories and continued to add to his Canadian leading win total throughout the night.

Henry opened the card with victories aboard Harts Destiny ($3) for trainer Rheal Bourgeois, Black Magic Eyes ($10.40) for Richard Moreau, Prettyndangerous ($5.40) for Andrew McCabe, and Joyful Road ($31.40) for Peter Core. The hot-handed reinsman later won back-to-back races beginning in the ninth with Moreau trainee Just One More ($7.10) and then Stary Ives ($22.50) for Dennis Morrissey.

The Arthur, Ont. horseman has earned 41 of his 255 seasonal wins at the Elora half-mile oval.

Billy Davis Jr., who sits second in the Canadian driver standings, and Grand River runner-up Brad Forward each won two races on the card. With his six-bagger, Henry now holds a 16-win advantage over Davis Jr. and a 19-point lead over Forward on the national and local leaderboards.
