Hanover TCNHC Qualifier Standings

A first time three-year-old filly trotter has juggled the leaderboard after week two of the Hanover Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship qualifier

MVS Worthy Girl owned by Craig and Shannon Chadwick of Grand Valley, and Joel Ross of Caledon, gave her backers $54.00 for the win, and $9.10 to place on Wednesday night.

Perle Breadner of Markdale was one of only four people to pick the first time trotter, and moved from near the bottom to top spot with $78.30 after two weeks.

John Dametto of Guelph is second at $77.80, Yadeo Sproxton of Brampton is third at $76.10 and in fourth place is Ben Minutillo of Stratford, who just entered the contest this week, and with that amazing pick has put himself right into contention. Don Richards of Tara rounds out the top five with $61.90 after week two.

The contest runs every Wednesday night in July and is free to enter. The top five after July 29th will receive prizes, and the winner will advance to the TCNHC finals in Ottawa this November. Top prize at the National contest is $25,000 dollars.
