Keith Jones trainee Nagle progressed from last to win the $5,000 second preliminary for the Sharpes Feed Series on Saturday, June 8 at Hanover Raceway.

The three-year-old Dali gelding sat fifth, 10 lengths behind pacesetter Easton Beach as he posted a first quarter in :28.2. Driver Bruce Richardson soon tipped Nagle off the cones and ranged first over into fourth past a :57.4 half before coming within a length of the lead passing a 1:27 third quarter. Nagle continued to cut into Easton Beach's lead turning into the stretch and eventually edged past to win by a half-length over pocket-popping Toxic Hanover in 1:56.4.

Owned by Jody Simmons, Nagle won his second race from 17 starts, earning $18,230. He paid $5.70 to win.
