With the rise in popularity of craft beer, and a destination brewery to be built only 10 minutes north of the Clinton Raceway, it seemed a winning combination to introduce the two.
This Sunday (June 12) during the live race card at Clinton, beer and racing fans alike can get a taste of Cowbell Brewing Co.'s inaugural brew, Absent Landlord, a smooth tasting, easy drinking Country Kolsch.
Cowbell will be serving up a sample and giving fans a complimentary coolie cup with a coupon found in the live race program. A ballot can also be filled out for the chance to win one of three great Cowbell prize packages drawn during the live race card.

Absent Landlord will be available the remainder of the season at Clinton Raceway and is now in LCBOs and on patios throughout the county.
Fans are also encouraged to support local food banks by bringing in canned good and $1 for a program, and enjoy the trackside BBQ, bake sale and 50/50 that will be happening. Those attending who are 50+ can purchase a special package including food, program, betting vouchers and the chance at exclusive prizes.
First-race post time will be 1:30 p.m. this Sunday and all summer long.
