Art and Andrew Stafford and Thomas Ireland’s Scuola Hanover overcame the outside post to score a 1:53.4 score in the featured $17,000 conditioned mares pace Tuesday (June 8) at Harrington Raceway.

The Andrew Stafford-trainee followed second-over cover to surge through the stretch and emerge a narrow winner over Truth And Liberty and Anytime N. It was the fifth win of the year for the six-year-old A Rocknroll Dance mare, who has banked more than $425,000 in her career, and her 26th victory overall. Art Stafford Jr. drove the $11.20 winner.

Ed Walls’ Designed To Dance won her second-straight race in a $11,500 conditioned pace for her owner-trainer with a front-stepping victory in 1:56.1. The four-year-old A Rocknroll Dance mare continued her sharp form spree after a lifetime best mile last week of 1:54.4. Dave Rearic drove the $6.60 winner.

Stafford Jr., Tony Morgan and Allan Davis each had driving doubles on the program.
