Ez Passer turned in a sharp 1:53.4 victory during Pennsylvania Stallion Series action at Harrah's Philadelphia on Wednesday (June 7), coming within two-fifths of a second of the track record for three-year-old trotting fillies.

In the middle $20,000 division, Ez Passer cleared Andovertheplace through a :27.3 opening quarter while a pair of breakers behind the top two left a huge gap to the rest of the field. The 9-5 favourite trotted on to the half in :57.1 and three-quarters in 1:25.2 before pulling away from her pocket-pursuer by three and a half lengths for the 1:53.4 victory. Jeff Gregory drove the Crazed-Musclegrad filly for trainer Mark Harder.

Owned and bred by Joseph Jannuzzelli of Manalapan, New Jersey, Ez Passer notched her second win of the season from five starts and fifth win overall leaving her just shy of the $100,000 earnings mark.

Other Stallion Series winners were: French Press in 1:57 for driver Scott Zeron and trainer Frank Antonacci; Lexi Marie in 1:55.3 with David Miller driving for the Trond Smedshammer stable; the season-debuting Blacksirenpedia in 1:55.3 with Yannick Gingras in the sulky for Bob Stewart; the lightly raced Money Crazed in 1:57.3 with Andrew McCarthy catch-driving for Norm Parker; Ellerie Hanover in 1:56 for driver Tim Tetrick and conditioner Anette Lorentzon; and repeat Stallion Series winner Canwood in 1:56 with Brett Miller catch-driving for trainer Bill Zendt.
