Dirt Track Momma capped off a successful night for driver Marc Campbell with a 1:57.4 win in the Fillies and Mares Open Thursday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. It was Campbell’s fourth winner of the night. The Winsloe native has driven 11 winners since last Saturday.
Dirt Track Momma was able to track down fraction setter General Luckypercy (Ron Matheson) through the stretch to notch her third win in-a-row for owner Jonah Moase and trainer Neal Moase of Cornwall. Mylittlerebel (Mark Bradley) finished third.
Campbell also drove Scarlett Patti to victory in the trot class for owner Gordon MacLean, Winsloe. Darrell Maclean was the winning trainer.
Kenny Arsenault recorded a driving double on the program.
Racing returns Saturday at 6 p.m. at Charlottetown. Red Shores Summerside hosts an action packed card on Sunday at 1 p.m. featuring the Easter Seals Pace.
