Trainer Clayton Miller started off his Thursday evening at Sulky Quebec with a victory, and things seemed to snowball from there for the conditioner from Levis, Quebec
.
Miller, who is in the midst of his fourth season as a trainer, watched his troops win three of the 10 races at the half-mile oval on Thursday night.
Mario Charron guided the Miller-trained Flopy Des Rivieres to a 2:03.1 win in the lid lifter, and Pascal Berube went wire-to-wire in the fifth race with another Miller pupil, Cammbe Aggo, in a time of 2:00.2. The three-bagger was completed when Alain Perrault clicked with Caprior Car in the eighth race. The 10-year-old veteran stopped the clock in 2:01.4.
Miller has sent out more than 40 winners in back-to-back seasons, and in each of his first three years of training horses he managed to establish a U.T.R. in excess of .400.
