The Little Saratoga Pacing Series gets underway this Sunday, June 7 at Dresden Raceway with the opening leg of the series.

Fans can look forward to seeing some of the sport's rising stars compete at Ontario's Little Saratoga during this week's 11-race card.

The $5,000 filly division opens the afternoon's 1 p.m. program and features a field of eight. Cleopanther has been installed as the 8-5 morning line favourite and will look to kick off the series with a strong performance from post two with Lorne House listed to drive for trainer Gary Hodgson. Jersey Jewel (5-2) and Kenogami Bulldog (3-1) are expected to be major contenders, while Stonebridge Caribe (4-1) adds further depth to a well-matched field. With several lightly raced horses looking to make their mark, the first leg of the series promises an exciting matchup.

The $5,000 boys’ division in race two features a field of nine and is headlined by heavy 1-5 favourite Skip The Honey, who is fresh off an easy victory in the London Classic Sales Series final last Friday at The Raceway at Western Fair District for driver Garrett Rooney and trainer Greg Drew. Over Bet (9-2) looks to be the main challenger, while Classy Dancer (9-1) and Friyayitsbeachday (10-1) are among those capable of getting into the mix. The remainder of the field adds depth and longshot value, with several outsiders looking to capitalize if the top choices falter.

The series, which is for non-winners of one race or $5,000 lifetime as of midnight March 31, 2026, will continue with a second leg on Sunday, June 14 and the $12,000 (added) finals on Sunday, June 21.

This Sunday's card also features a nine-horse field in the Prospect Series for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings. Trained by Jean-Francois Maguire and driven by Sam Fillion, Silver Detector comes into this leg off an easy victory last time at Flamboro Downs and will look to carry that momentum forward, while Super Green (3-1), Wheeler Seelster (5-2) and Stormont My Boy (4-1) sit among the main contenders in a deep group. Chip King (5-1) and Heff (6-1) add further depth, making this a well-balanced and competitive division.

The Pick 4 has a $2,272.90 carryover, kicking off in race eight.

Fans are reminded to get their picks in for the $100 Inside Harness contest. Registration closes at 1 p.m. through insideharness.com.
