Three-year-old trotting filly Lexus Angel got back on track with a winning qualifier during Tuesday morning's short session at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

After making breaks in her May starts including a pair of stakes engagements, Lexus Angel charted a clean line in the qualifiers, trotting back to her lifetime mark of 1:56.2. She set fractions of :29.1, :59.2, 1:28.1 and closed out the 3-1/2-length winning mile with a :28.1 final frame for driver and co-owner Trevor Henry.

Trained by Shannon Henry for Trevor Henry Stables Inc. and breeder Norm Dunstan, the Archangel-Lexus Helios filly is a full sibling to Ontario Sires Stakes winner and 1:50 trotter Lexus Kody.

Unraced as a two-year-old, Lexus Angel sports a career record reading 3-2-0 from nine starts with the bulk of her $44,235 bankroll earned with an April victory in the preliminary leg of the Ontario Sired Spring Series and a runner-up finish in the final. The filly remains eligible to the Casual Breeze and Elegantimage Stakes this summer.
