Kurt Adams of Hanover, Pennsylvania won the $2,500 first prize in The Meadowlands' 30-And-Under Handicapping Contest, sponsored by Jeff and Paula Gural’s Allerage Farms, on Friday night (June 3).
The millennial’s final bankroll of $135.60 topped the field of 41. Christopher Hofheinz of Hoboken finished second with $131 and pocketed $1,500.
Remarkably, both players benefited from selecting race nine winner That Woman Hanover, who paid $46.20.
