It was announced earlier this week that Miami Valley Raceway has a new president and general manager.

A report by the Dayton Daily News explains that the racino has promoted Domenic Mancini to president and general manager, replacing Jim Simms.

The article states that Simms has taken the position of CEO with the Downtown Grand, a new hotel/casino in Las Vegas. It goes on to explain that Mancini has over 35 years of experience in the gaming industry and that he had been Miami Valley’s senior director of operations since 2013.

The report contains a statement on the Mancini promotion from Brian Hansberry, the president of Delaware North Companies.

Speaking of Mancini, Hansberry said, “His well-rounded, multi-jurisdictional experience sets him up perfectly for this role.”
