Brenda Teague's homebred pacer Hundred Dollar Man ($5.20) was a 1:51.4 winner in the $24,658 Open Handicap in rein to Montrell Teague at Harrington Raceway on Monday, June 30.

Longshot Effingham (Art Stafford Jr.) was sent hard for the lead early from post two and seated Adam Twelve (Corey Callahan) in the pocket towards a spirited opening quarter in :26.4 and half-mile in :56.1. The field reached three-quarters in 1:24.1 with Hundred Dollar Man gaining rapidly with a first-over charge to clear the pacesetter and notch his third win of the year. Effingham held second with favourite Downers Delight (Pat Berry) third.

Trained by Clyde Francis, the four-year-old Lather Up-Whirl The Girl gelding has banked $68,972 in seasonal earnings.

On the undercard, Bobby Glassmeyer's Rocknroll Lou ($13.80) and Montrell Teague scored a 1:51.1 win in a $19,863 Winners-Over event.

The feature wins were part of a driving grand slam on the 13-race card for Montrell Teague.

Trainer Andrew Stafford, driver Art Stafford Jr. and owner Evm Racing started the card with a double from post eight as Pirates Code ($3.80) and Dancing Stranger ($4.60) both prevailed to start the program. Stafford Jr. drove three winners for his brother on the program.
