Five In A Row For Jefferson Tare?

Published: June 30, 2014 11:04 pm EDT

With a two-week layoff under his belt, Jefferson Tare - the top three-year-old pacer at the Hippodrome 3R - returns in hopes of notching his fifth straight win Tuesday evening.

The gelded son of Jeremes Jet, owned and trained by Pierre Leclerc, has been on a roll since the Hippodrome 3R opened its doors this season. He was third in his first start and has not lost going back to May 14.

Jefferson Tare will start from post three in the ninth race as he moves up the ladder of success for Leclerc and is listed as the 5/2 morning line favourite. Jefferson Tare was most impressive in his last start when he took the lead in the backstretch and rolled to a 1:57.2 victory.

Looking to give Jefferson Tare a run for the money will be Snipper Phil (post 5) and Udine Bayama (post 7).

The sixth race feature pace features Guy Gagnon’s Domino Cybele from post two, who has won three of his four starts this years. The five-year-old gelded son of Victorys Force scored a lifetime best 1:58.4 romp last week by six and one-quarter lengths.

Post time Tuesday is 7:00 p.m.
