Alex MacQuarrie dominated Inverness Raceway’s 10-race program on Wednesday night as he scored his first three training wins of the season and added to his driving totals.

Rocket Player (2:04) was next up, giving MacQuarrie a sweep of the Daily Double in front-end fashion. The six-year-old son of Omar Khayam scored his first win of the year in six attempts for local owner Angus MacQuarrie.

Owned by Inverness' Randy Copley, Skole (1:59.2) converted from the pocket to win the sixth race and complete MacQuarrie’s hat trick. The six-year-old son of Stampede Hanover also picked up his first win of the season in nine tries.

MacQuarrie has sent 125 winners postward in his career for earnings over $83,000.

The resident of Inverness also drove Gimme A Two Step (2:02) to victory in the finale for trainer and part-owner Tim Gillis.
