2013 WDC Field, Schedule

In 2012, Trevor Henry made headlines as the top dash-winning driver in Canada. In 2013, he could make international headlines as the World Driving Champion.

This coming Sunday, Henry, of Arthur, Ont., will start on his quest to defend the nation’s title in the 2013 World Driving Championship (WDC). Henry will look to become the fifth Canadian driver to capture the international driving event, with a prize of $25,000 going to the winner. Past Canadian WDC winners include Herve Filion (1970), Sylvain Filion (1999) and Jody Jamieson (2001, 2011).

The 20-heat WDC Tour opens in Reims, France (heart of the Champagne Region) on June 9, where the first five races will be contested. The full schedule of races is as follows:

There are 12 countries involved in the 25th edition of the World Driving Championship: Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United States.
