A $24,000 conditioned trot served as the Monday, June 29 feature at Woodbine Mohawk Park, where Eurobank Hanover and driver Bob McClure safely deposited the victory, leading every step of the way in an open-length score.
Leaving from the outside post six in the event for non-winners of five or $80,000 lifetime as the 4-5 favourite, Eurobank Hanover worked around Seismic Step (Travis Cullen) to cross over against the cones on top through the opening quarter in :27.2. McClure grabbed leather to the half in :56.3 before gaining separation on the final turn, extending the lead to two lengths at the three-quarter pole in 1:24.4.
McClure remained chilly in the bike in the lane, with Eurobank Hanover doing it on his own from there with a :27.2 blitz for home to cross the wire 3-1/2 lengths clear on the wire in 1:52.1. Seismic Step held sway for second, with Validus (Todd Ratchford) claiming the final podium position 5-3/4 lengths back of the winner.
Trained by Luc Blais, Eurobank Hanover has won four of his eight starts this season while banking $55,262 in 2026. The four-year-old Greenshoe-Emmylou Who gelding is owned by Determination of Montreal, Que., and now boasts a career bankroll of $94,302 following his 11th career victory.
