In rein to her trainer, Mark Steacy, bay filly Miss Majestic (Majestic Son--Gypsys Bonnie, by Cumin) closed on her Race 1 rivals and got up to record a three-quarters of one length victory in 2:03 over the 'fast' track. The mile was the filly's first-ever charted line.

Sullys Glide (Glidemaster--Miss Blizzard, by Malabar Man) turned the trick in Race 2 for the combination of trainer Ben Baillargeon and driver Mario Baillargeon, who recently recorded his 7,000th career driving victory. The brown colt started from Post 7, tripped the timer at the opening quarter while overland and led the rest of the way. He held on for a head victory in 2:03.1. The effort was also the colt's first-ever charted line.

The familiar combo of driver Jody Jamieson and trainer Jeff Gillis captured Race 3 with Prized Fighter (Duke Of York--Concher, by Pine Chip), who tripped the final timer in 2:02. The bay gelding started from Post 4 and was first up through the latter stages of the second quarter and along the final turn. Prized Fighter made the lead past the three quarters of a mile marker and went on to win by three-quarters of one length. The win was the second consecutive qualifying victory for Prized Fighter, who is out of the same dam as $200,000 winner Southfork.
