Harry G ($4.00) is a perfect two-for-two since returning to Atlantic Canada after his sharp 1:54.2 win over Imalookertoo in Sunday's (June 27) $2,000 winners-over pacing feature at Truro Raceway.
In line again to Ernie Laffin, Harry G sprinted clear of Rusty Riley (Paul Langille) through a :28 first quarter before rating a :30 breather through the second quarter. Things got more challenging for the four-year-old Rollwithitharry gelding through the second circuit, as Imalookertoo (Danny Romo) advanced from third to offer a stern first-over challenge. The pair duelled past three-quarters in 1:26.1 and through the entire far turn before Harry G edged away to a 1-1/2-length win. Imalookertoo maintained second, three lengths better than Rusty Riley.
