Andrea Hill’s Jeremy’s Successor earned his fifth Harrington Raceway win in 2011 Monday with a 1:53.1 score for driver Sean Bier in the featured $18,600 Open Pace

Trained by Crissy Crissman, Jeremys Successor sat behind pacesetter Harlingen Hanover throughout and surged up the inside late for the win. Harlingen Hanover held second while a game Chilli NZ survived a first over trip for third.
Jeremys Successor has banked more than $130,000 this year and the seven-year-old Mach Three gelding has won five of his eight races this year on Delaware’s half-mile racetrack.
Harrington’s leading driver Ross Wolfenden, had five winners on the card while veteran pacer Village Blitz earned his 58th career win in the third race for owner/trainer Arty Foster, Jr. Driven by Russell Foster, the 11-year-old Village Jiffy gelding won his third straight race in 1:54.1 and has banked in excess of $950,000 in career earnings.
