Driver Brad Forward enjoyed a banner Sunday afternoon at Dresden Raceway thanks to a six-win performance

on the 12-race program.

Forward didn’t have a drive in the first race and he came up second best in Race 2, but from that point on he was lights out.

The Newfoundland native got the ball rolling with Loverboynik (2:00.1) in Race 3. The pacer drew off to win by 6-1/4 lengths for trainer Bryce Fenn and owner Souren Hovsepian of Palm Beach, FL. The victory also trigged a natural Grand Slam for Forward, who took Race 4 with Your My Boy Blue (2:00.2), Race 5 with Personal Finance (2:03.4) and Race 6 with Looks The Art (1:58).

He made his way back to victory lane in Race 8 with St Lads Magnum (2:01.1), who went wire-to-wire en route to a one-length score for trainer Chris Haskell and owner Cassie Nantais of Windsor, ON. Forward capped off the day with a win behind the James Boucher-trained Thatll Work (1:58.2). The gelding drew clear to win by 8-3/4 lengths for owner Terri Boucher of Windsor, ON.

Forward, who has sat behind just over 1,000 starters this season, has made 264 trips to the winner’s circle while banking in excess of $1.1 million in the process. The career winner of 3,903 races has driven winners of more than $23.6 million to date.
